  Ark-La-Tex Antique & Classic Vehicle Museum
Located at 601 Spring Street
and housed in an original 1927 Graham Truck / Dodge Car showroom and assembly area, listed on the National Registry of Historic Place. Exhibits are rotated every six months. More than 40 models of automotive history in both classic and antique vehicles.

  Art Space
Located at 710 Texas, owned by the DDA and managed by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council this 20,000 square foot former furniture store renovated to house downtown's newest multipurpose art center.
  J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center
Construction underway. Located at 600 Clyde Fant Parkway. In 1997, the U.S. Congress funded construction of the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center. Through a series of ongoing programs, exhibits, displays and other educational tools, the 8,300 sq. ft. center is designed to inform the public about the Red River Basin, the J. Bennett Johnston Waterway and the role of the Corps of Engineers in the development, preservation and enhancement of water resources in our area.
  Multicultural Center
Located at 400 Travis Street, the Multicultural Center of the South is a celebration of our people's diversity. The center explores the history, heritage and culture of the residents of Shreveport, Bossier City and the surrounding areas of the South.   Spring Street Historical Museum
Located at 525 Spring Street.
Built in 1865, as Tally’s Bank, the Spring Street Historical Museum is housed in one of the oldest remaining buildings in downtown Shreveport. Carefully restored, it boasts the only remaining example of New Orleans-style cast-iron grill work in the Northwest Louisiana. Since 1976, the building has been owned and operated by the Shreveport Committee of Colonial Dames in Louisiana.

  SUMAS - Southern University Museum of Art Shreveport
Located at 610 Texas, this remarkable collection of African art and artifacts and African American art represents centuries of art evolution. The Southern University collection is a must see for all visitors to downtown Shreveport.

  The Strand
Owned and operated by a non-profit corporation, the historic Strand Theatre movie and vaudeville palace opened in 1925. Completely renovated in 1984.

Municipal Auditorium
Owned by the city of Shreveport and built in 1929. Currently under renovation. Home of the Louisiana Hayride show and radio broadcasts where Elvis Presley, Hank Williams, Johnnie Horton and other country legends were regulars.

Municipal facility dedicated to the arts and ornamental horticulture. Domed arboretum. Meeting rooms available. Located on the Red River adjacent to Riverfront Park.

Riverfront Park
Terraced riverfront park featuring a beautiful fountain and dramatic views of the Red River and downtown.

Festival Plaza
A three block corridor stretching from Riverfront Park to Market Street, between Crockett Street and the KCS Railroad tracks. Developed by the City to accommodate the many community and regional festivals held in the city center.

The Robinson Film Center (currently under construction-scheduled to open May 2008)
Established to exhibit international, independent and classic film and serve as a resource for filmmaking and film education.
